Class 95 rawks.
Yes it does.
For some reason, listening to all the oldies-but-the goodies on Class 95 has hit me with some nostalgic wave and then i fell into the youtube abyss, searching for old mtvs. There is something very very compelling about matching outfits, poofy hair, coordinated dance moves and shimmering, blinding silver and gold sequinned dresses. The 70s and the 80s! People certainly dressed outrageously, but you can tell they had fun. With the cheesy music and silly dances, pple stood up and cheered and screamed and cried for their stars as the stars reciprocated by going all out in their performances. It was silly but HELL it was bloody entertaining and how i wish we had first hand experience of that. I wish i was there collapsing with excitement at a beatles concert or throwing my panties at elvis up on stage or swaying side to side coordinatedly to The Osmonds and Jackson 5. *sigh* i bet back then no one had to stay at home all weekend to work on lab reports, worry about mini projects and mull about which deadline was looming nearer.. Some days i feel like even though I'm getting a university education, I'm still wasting my life away. If i died tomorrow, i'd have spent the whole day before i died, researching the end products of energy metabolism during environmental hypoxia in fish!
